Rosary No More: Why I Stopped Praying The Rosary!

I have prayed the Hail Mary, thousands of times. I can remember praying that prayer at Roman Catholic wakes and funerals, hoping that the person who died would not suffer too long in Purgatory. I would hope that Mary would remember me at the time of my own death. Jesus was not even part of the equation in my prayers to Mary. She was the one who I called upon, and she was the one that the Catholic Priests taught me to call upon at the hour of my death.

Many years later, I came to know the real Jesus Christ, and I realized and understood that Jesus was all that I ever needed. When I was born again of the Spirit of the living God, I knew that the real Mary never even heard one of my thousands of “Hail Mary” prayers. I can remember sitting at my kitchen table, when the Lord gave me a mental picture of all the ceremonies that I had attended as a Roman Catholic, along with all the pomp and circumstance that goes with it, and the Lord flooded my heart with His joy. He showed me that all of the ceremony and pomp, was not necessary, but that SALVATION  was by SIMPLE FAITH in HIM, and it was FREE!  The Lord showed me in such a sweet way, that He was all I needed, that He was the one that saved my soul. I was truly amazed at His mercy toward me, and I knew that He truly did forgive me of my sins. Folks, that is the salvation of Jesus Christ, and it is real!

Let The Redeemed Of The Lord Say So

Let the REDEEMED of the LORD say so, whom he hath REDEEMED from the hand of the enemy; (Psalms 107:2)

True believers in Jesus Christ, know that they have been REDEEMED by theBLOOD of Jesus Christ, and we can ’say so!’ The people of ‘the world’ make no bones about praising their idols. You see them at the baseball and football games with their shaved heads, with the Team insignia carved out, and you see them with their painted bodies with the team colors, but if you speak about Jesus, you become a ‘nut’ to them! The world will try to keep the Christian testimony quiet and it happens in a very slow and seductive manner. The people in the world, reward their ‘own’ with their ‘Emmys, Grammys, Oscars and their respective Hall of Fames.’ But true believers are numbered among those who can say, ‘I have been redeemed of the Lord’ and I know that I am on my way to Heaven. We should not be ashamed to ’say so’ just because the world does not approve of Jesus Christ!

It does not matter if a persons name is Michael Jackson or Phil Jackson, Billy Mays or Willie Mays, Ed Mc Mahon or Thom McCann, because every person needs to be REDEEMED by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ, in order to be saved and end up in heaven. Have you been REDEEMED? If you have, then you can’say so’ according to the scriptures.

The Five Wise And The Five Foolish Virgins!

The New Testament writers often quoted from the Old Testament (Covenant) scriptures to show that Jesus was indeed the very Christ (Messiah) . Jesus Himself stressed the importance of knowing the Word of God, when He spoke to His own disciples (followers). Here is an actual quote from Jesus Christ after He was killed and had already risen from the dead:

Then he (Jesus) said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at MOSES and ALL the PROPHETS, he expounded unto them in all the SCRIPTURES the things CONCERNING HIMSELF. (Luke 24:25-27)

God’s Word Shall Come To Pass!

This message is meant to encourage the believer in Jesus Christ, and a reminder that the Word of the Lord still stands TRUE today, and it shall come to pass. The Lord’s prophets were always mocked and persecuted BUT that did not stop the word of God from coming to pass. The Lord told Ezekiel this:

For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 12:25)

In this message I speak mainly out of 2nd Peter Chapter 3, where Peter comes forth with a PROPHETIC WORD that has not been FULFILLED as of yet, BUT it will come to pass just as the Word of God has always come to pass. Peter warned us about scoffers (mockers) coming in the “last days” (that includes these days also), where people would mock the coming of the Lord: “Where is the promise of His coming?” would be their charge against the TRUE BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ. Be encouraged my fellow believing CHRISTIAN,  because God’s Word Shall Come To Pass!

There is a lot of talk about the “end of the world” in these modern times, and sometimes the whole idea of the “end of the world” is nothing but a joke to the unsaved. Jesus mentions the “end of the world” in this parable and he speaks about the tares (workers of iniquity) being cast into a “furnace of fire.” Jesus Christ never minced words when he taught about such solemn topics like this. The Passover Has No Meaning Without Jesus Christ

There is absolutely no meaning in the Passover feast without Jesus Christ. If a person does not understand their need for the BLOOD atonement for their own sins, it is nothing but a meaningless tradition. The scriptures declare the TRUTH, and the Passover pointed to the ULTIMATE sacrifice of Jesus, the LAMB OF GOD, who taketh away the SIN of the world!

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: (1 Corinthians 5:7)

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)

The Grace Of God That Brings Salvation

There is only one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ. There is only one way for a person to be justified before a holy and righteous God, and that is by the blood that Jesus Christ shed for us on the cross. A person cannot enter the kingdom of God, unless they come through Jesus Christ. That is the very center of the Gospel message. A person may be very religious, but they may also be very lost. Have YOU been reconciled back to God yet?

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36)

Judgment Day

This is a message that is in sync with my previous message entitled “The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.”In this message I prove through the use of the scriptures that the Lord’s second coming is also the DAY of judgment and the last day. The Testimony Of Jesus Is The Spirit Of Prophecy

In the book of Revelation, the apostle John was rebuked by an angel after John fell down to worship him. Here is the passage from the scriptures: And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (Revelation 19:10) The whole prophetic word of God will point you to the person of Jesus Christ. The angel from Heaven did not want any of the praise that was due only to the Lord Himself, and he did the right thing in rebuking John. Every single person who has been “born again” of the Spirit, will have the testimony of Jesus Christ in their hearts, and upon their lips. Having Faith In The Midst Of Despair

This is a short message [22 minutes long] that I shared  one Sunday at a Rehab Center. I expound on the scriptures which are found in Luke 18:1-8, where the Lord Jesus Christ talks about the woman who pleaded with an unjust judge. Jesus contrasted the unjust judge with God Himself, who is waiting to reply to His own people and their requests. We serve a God who is willing to help us, and that is one of the main reasons that the Lord spoke this parable. The woman had faith, that even an unjust judge would answer her request, and he did. There are literally millions of people who would make the claim that they are Christians, but they have never been born again of the Spirit. The Bible tells us that PEACE has been made “through the BLOOD of the cross” [Colossians 1:20] and that we have been redeemed with the“precious BLOOD of Christ.[1 Peter 1:19]” There is nothing more valuable than the BLOOD which was shed by Jesus Christ on the cross. Without thatBLOOD, a person CANNOT be REDEEMED, and they cannot have PEACEwith GOD. A Message For The People Of Israel And All Who Fear God!

In the book of Acts [Acts 13:13-52], there is a powerful passage of scripture, where the Jewish apostle Paul and others, are given the opportunity to preach the word of God, in a Jewish synanagogue. Paul took advantage of that opportunity, and quickly rehearsed the history of God’s dealings with the people of Israel, for the sole purpose of showing them that Jesus Christ, was the Saviour whom God had sent.

For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption. Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: (Acts 13:36-38)

Paul made it clear to the Jewish people and their rulers, that King David from Old Covenant times, died, and his body decayed,  BUT it was not so with Jesus Christ. God raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, [with no decay or corruption]. Paul made it clear that Jesus was of the seed, [ a descendant] of David, and Jesus was the one whom the Old Covenant prophets spoke about. The only problem was that the Jewish rulers missed it when Jesus Christ came on the scene. Paul did not want his listeners to fall into that same trap, and miss the very ‘word of salvation’ which was meant for them!

Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent. For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him. (Acts 13:26-27)

The Jewish rulers of Paul’s time, and the Jewish rulers of our time still read the scriptures every Sabbath, and to this day, they still do not recognize the “voices of the prophets” which are read each week. The Jewish people and the rulers of that time, ended up FULFILLING the very scriptures, when they demanded that Jesus Christ be put to death. The message that I share here, is the same message that the apostle Paul spoke to the people all those years ago. One Gospel For Both Jew And Gentile

There is only one Gospel that can save a soul, and that Gospel call is for people everywhere in the entire world. There is not a separate Gospel, nor is there a separate COVENANT for the Jewish people. The Gospel is for ALL the NATIONS (GENTILES) in the world, and  ALL the Jewish people in the world also. The ethnicity or RACE of a person does not matter at all. It is important to remember that a person can only have their SINS atoned for by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. The Jewish people have been without a BLOOD ATONEMENT for nearly two thousand years! How can they have their SIN atoned for if there is no longer a Jewish Tabernacle or Temple? The Strong Delusion Of “Christian” Zionism

The scriptures warn us about those who have an “antichrist spirit” and deny that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. Can two walk together except they be agreed? The Good Fight Of Faith

The apostle Paul said this a short time before he left this Earth:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)

If you have been born again of the Spirit and are a true Bible believing Christian, then you too are in a “fight of faith.” This is a message of encouragement to stand strong in the Lord and to continue in the Word of God until the end. Friends, we must understand, that many people are straying from the scriptures, and departing from the faith, even as the Spirit prophesied would happen.

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” (1 Timothy 4:1)

Once again the apostle Paul encourages us with the following words:“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12) Tune in to the podcast and be blessed.

How The Devil Deceives People?
